Who We Are
We have a full staff of natural resource professionals and we also maintain a pool of experienced and qualified sub-contractors to call upon when needed.  Our diverse knowledge and experience, along with available resources, enables us to take on a variety of projects.  The dedication we have for delivering professional work to our clients allows us to perform these projects with the highest industry standards and in a timely fashion.

November 1, 2010
Green Timber Tree Farm Group members are recognized in the Ironwood Daily Globe for receiving the 2010 Upper Peninsula Tree Farmer of the Year. Read the article.

Fall 2010
An article appeared in the local newspapers about two Green Timber Tree Farm Group members. One earned 2010 Upper Peninsula Tree Farmer of the Year, while the other received the 2010 Michigan Tree Farmer of the Year.

Spring 2010

Fall 2007
Green Timber Consulting Foresters, Inc. received the 2007 Forestry Award from the Marquette Conservation District. Justin, Jim, Rexx and Michelle attended the Annual Marquette Conservation District Meeting to accept the award.

August 5, 2007
Justin Miller was recognized as the 2007 Outstanding Young Alumnus at the School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science alumni luncheon held in conjunction with the MTU Alumni Reunion. Summer 2007
An ancient buried forest was discovered on a client's property while he was having a pond developed. The buried trees are being studied at Michigan Technological University to determine the age and species of the trees. An article about this appeared in the TechAlum newsletter.

Spring/Summer 2006
Green Timber Consulting Foresters was featured in the School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science’s newsletter. View the article on page 3 of the newsletter.

Winter 2005
Green Timber organized a salvage timber sale on property owned by the Central Lake Superior Land Conservancy. This was the result of a windstorm damage that occurred earlier that summer. Read more in the CLSLC newsletter.

Services We Offer
We are involved in a variety of forestry-based work across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our focus is to help manage the forests of the western U.P., however we do conduct business in other portions of the state and country on occasion. The variety of services we provide, along with our diverse clientele, keeps us up-to-date with the continuously changing forest industry. Our clients range from conservation groups to private landowners, with properties ranging in size from a few acres to many large tracts of land. We also spend time working on state and federal forests as well as providing services to forest industries, large consulting firms and small private loggers.
